Long Lost Family Portrait

Unearthed this one in the attic. I believe it is a 17th century Dutch painting of one of my French ancestors, Mssr. Richart D'Cumín. My wife believes it is a Rembrandt, but I think it is by one of his students, Robert van Ross. The "wet-in-wet" technique is uncharacteristic of Rembrandt, and I believe that if one closely examines behind the feather, one can see a happy little squirrel.
